Hello! nice to meet you and welcome to the Bark This Way blog!
This blog is about all things animal and pet related. My name is Amy, I am a pet photographer and owner of Bark This Way and Uni the Jack Russell! I share my home with many, 11 dogs, 7 cats, 2 parrots, chinchillas, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, guinea-pigs, rats ,squirrels and any other little orphans that we're hand rearing at the time!
My Mum has always been an animal lover and growing up we used to foster kittens. Slowly people started bringing wildlife to us, the odd pigeon or baby bird. My Mum would hand rear them and then release them.
My Mum opened a petshop 6 years ago and customers are always bringing in little babies or animals that they have found. Over the years we have had our fair share of pigeons, ducklings, baby birds, a partridge, pheasants, wild rabbits and Mum has also hand reared two squirrels.

So what's this got to do with Bark This Way photography?
Well.....I graduated from university in July 10 and wanted to merge my two passions animals and photography and so I started Bark This Way.
I love all animals but have a special soft spot for man's best friend, I mean what's not to love!? I love to photograph dogs out on location where they are happiest and most relaxed. I want to capture there true personality.
