It's always such a great day, with a fantastic turn out of devoted dog owners. There are about 10 different categories to enter (my favourite is always the trick round!!) and the categories are always bursting with people and their dogs.
It's great to see a mix of unusual breeds popping up too, it's mostly the working breeds that we see around here so it's nice to see a change!!
Sadly I had a work event to go to so I only had about 30mins there and the weather was a nightmare, great sunny spells then suddenly torrential rain! My camera was in and out of my bag every 5 minutes!
Here are a few of the dogs I met at the show.....
First up we have Ruby and Bailey two Bulldog sisters, Ruby is the little lady in the first photo, she was very overwhelmed by everything that was going on around her that day, kids screaming, loud music, lots of people etc. I took a couple of photos of her and then left her alone, she seemed a bit nervous and I didn't want to worry her even more. She is looking at her mum in that photo!
Then there was Bailey who was the complete opposite, she fell in love with me and wouldn't leave me alone! It was difficult capturing her from a distance because she spent most of her time in my lap wanting a fuss!
A familiar face Poppy! Having fun as always!
I can't remember this little boys name but isn't he gorgeous!?
This gorgeous Samoyed was owned by some very lovely people who looked very proud when they saw me taking their dogs photo! They even made him sit for me which was very helpful!
This beautiful giant Schnauzer was peering out through a sea of legs waiting for his category to come up...
This little lady is Lily and she is 12 weeks old, she was full of beans but sat very patiently while her owner Julia held up a biscuit. She was the sweetest.
