Our Dogs - Boris

Boris (Bo, BoBo, Bowie, Bo Bags) is our 2 year old Chinese Crested and we call him our 'comedy' dog! We have owned two Chinese Crested's before and Boris couldn't be more different to them! People often make a judgement that Chinese Crested's are little handbag dogs, that need to be carried around and dressed up, Boris is the opposite to that! He even shocks us with how Un-Chinese Crested like he is!
When we went to collect Boris from the breeders house we were bombarded by confident little puppies! They climbed all over us playing, they were so confident, it was great to see. We picked Boris out straight away because he was so bold. On the car ride home we expected him to be a bit quiet having just left his little family but oh no, not Boris, he was looking out the windows, playfully nibbling my face, jumping all over the place!! He was such a fantastic puppy, so full of confidence. We always say that Boris has never encountered anything he's been scared of, even as a puppy!
The village we live in is predominantly working breeds, labs, springers, terriers, so you can imagine peoples reactions when a little pink, bald puppy is strutting down the High Street. Peoples initial reactions would be "Ergh, what is it?!" (and yes that would say that to us!) but it was soon followed by "Awww, he's actually really cute". From 'Ergh' to 'Awww' in a split second.
Boris is such a fantastic dog with such a huge personality, he really is our 'comedy dog'! and although his hair does resemble Boris Johnson's the name is pure coincidence!!
